Finisher - Furniture

Blatt Billiards - A world renowned pool table manufacturer is looking for a professional furniture finisher with 10+ years of experience in high end furniture finishing. Portfolio of past work required.

Position Responsibilities:
-Preparing table parts and pieces crafted from raw woods, veneers and restorations. This includes removing, sanding, filling and preparing parts for finish.
-The proper candidate will have the ability to match samples and create counter samples. Staining and matching samples very important skill required. The proper candidate will be able to finish entire table to match approved sample.
-The proper candidate will have experience working with water stains, alcohol stains, Japan colors and cerusing.
-The proper candidate will be detail focused, reliable, arrives at work on time and stays focused throughout the day.
-The proper candidate will have experience and knowledge of working with lacquer, polyurethane, acetone, mineral spirits. Experience with spraying and toning
-Hours are M-F 7-3:30.
