Finisher/Painter - Millwork Shop

Northern Star Millwork, a leader in the architectural millwork industry, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Millwork Finisher/Painter to join our team. We manufacture high-quality custom commercial casework and architectural millwork for hotels, restaurants, healthcare facilities, and other commercial projects across the United States.

Our woodworking facility is located in Longwood, Florida, where we take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial wood finishing
• Experience with color matching, toning, and custom stain mixing
• Knowledge of mixing and spraying conversion varnishes, paints, and stains
• Strong understanding of proper sanding and surface preparation techniques
• Familiarity with hardwoods, veneers, and wood grain characteristics
• Ability to maintain finishing materials and inventory based on production needs
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
