FIRE ALARM TECHNICIAN

Alarm Technician (2-5 Years Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Alarm Technician to join our growing Fire Life Safety team.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of hands-on experience installing, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting alarm and life safety systems in commercial and residential environments.

Responsibilities:

Install, service, and repair fire alarm, burglar alarm, access control, and related low-voltage systems
Troubleshoot system issues and perform diagnostics to identify and resolve problems
Conduct system testing, inspections, and preventive maintenance
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures
Communicate professionally with customers and team members

Qualifications:
2-5 years of alarm installation, repair, and troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of fire alarm, security, access control, and low-voltage systems
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Certifications are a plus, but not required
Experience with commercial fire alarm systems and inspections
