Fire Alarm Technicians – Commercial Projects – $25-$45/hr

Flex Tech is hiring Licensed Fire Alarm Technicians for commercial new construction and retrofit projects throughout the San Antonio, TX area. If you take pride in quality workmanship and hold a current Texas Fire Alarm License, we want to hear from you.

## The Details
Location: San Antonio, TX (local travel to commercial jobsites required)
Type: Full-Time, permanent — steady, consistent work
Pay: $25 – $45/hr (DOE)
Room to grow into senior technician and field leadership roles

## What You'll Be Doing

• Install fire alarm cabling and systems in commercial environments
• Terminate devices: horns and strobes, pull stations, smoke detectors, duct detectors
• Assist with fire alarm system testing, inspections, and service work as needed
• Follow testing procedures and applicable fire and building codes
• Maintain a safety-conscious, professional jobsite
• Work independently or as part of a project team

## What You Need

• Current Texas Fire Alarm License (must meet all state licensing requirements, including background checks)
• 2+ years of fire alarm installation and cabling experience
• Willing to work days, nights, and weekends as required
• Comfortable in tight/confined spaces, carrying heavy materials, and climbing ladders
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to travel to multiple jobsites within the San Antonio metro area
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• Strong commitment to workplace safety

## Nice to Have

• 5+ years of commercial fire alarm experience
• Experience with fire alarm inspections, testing, or service work
