We are looking for more well qualified fire sprinkler foreman, and apprentices. We are willing to pay for the right people. We are also here to help you grow your career, we cover almost every aspect of fire sprinkler systems, and there is a lot to learn here. 90% of our work is in Sacramento or Placer County. We are looking for apprentices looking to start or continue their career in our apprenticeship program.

Job Requirements- Foreman

Education, training, experience:

The responsibilities and work of the Fire Sprinkler Foreman consists of the knowledge and ability to install all types of fire protection systems, including the layout and installation of some underground piping and devices. A Sprinkler Project Foreman shall be able to communicate well with offsite support people, and also be able to communicate well with customers and other site contractors.

Strong and full training in the use of NFPA standards, and will have had strong and full training in safety processes and familiarity with OSHA regulations.

Operate 'RIDGID 300' pipe threader, groover, skill saws, power drills, impact guns, hydrostatic pumps. Ensure tools are being maintained and operated efficiently and are in good condition prior to and following use. Ensure all tools are protected from theft at all times.

Operate fork lifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts and other equipment for which the specific installer is certified.

Physical Requirements:

Frequently required to use hands/fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, and controls.

Constantly be able to stand, bend, stoop, walk, and have the ability to climb ladders.

Clean driving record, ability to pass a drug screening test.

Frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Participation -- participate in teams and assist in facilitating the communication and interaction amongst the teams

Problem solving skills -- to handle customer requests and concerns properly and promptly, and to resolve trade conflicts on the project site.

Decision making skills -- to ensure customer issues are resolved in an equitable manner for both the customer and the company.

Technical knowledge -- understand product specifications, understand the codes and standards that outline the use and installation of materials.

Fiduciary -- define potential cost savings and initiative

Plans, develops, and implements functions/projects
Strong Analytical Skills.

Must possess basic mathematical skills, make arithmetic calculations with speed and accuracy, and have ability to read/write/speak English.

Frequent mental alertness and attention to detail required while setting priorities, meeting critical deadlines and following up on assignments.

Must possess effective written/oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of project participants in a professional and effective manner.

Expected to draw conclusions, make independent decisions, and take action as needed.
