Fire Sprinkler Service Technician

ICON Fire & Life Safety has an immediate opening for a skilled, reliable sprinkler technician who can troubleshoot, repair, and service fire sprinkler systems with confidence. This is a great opportunity for someone with 5+ years of hands-on fire sprinkler experience who wants steady work, a strong team, and room to grow with a company that takes care of its people.

What You’ll Do

You’ll handle service, repair, troubleshooting, and small projects on commercial and multifamily fire sprinkler systems throughout the Austin area.

Typical work includes:

Troubleshooting wet, dry, pre-action, and fire pump systems

Repairing leaks, deficiencies, and failed components
Performing tenant finish and small service projects
Replacing heads, valves, gauges, pipe, hangers, and related system components
Coordinating with inspectors, customers, property managers, and other trades
Completing clean, accurate service documentation
Representing ICON professionally in the field
What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has:

5+ years of fire sprinkler service experience
Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently in the field
Knowledge of NFPA 13, 25, and general sprinkler system requirements
Experience with commercial, industrial, and multifamily properties
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to pass required background/drug screening
Texas RME-I, SCR, or other fire protection licenses/certifications are a plus
