**Location:** Denver Metro Area
**Position:** Full-Time, Year-Round
**Starting Salary:** $65,000+ per year, based on experience

About the Position

We are an established fireplace service and repair company serving the Denver metro area, and we are looking for a **Fireplace Installation Technician** to join our team.

This is a hands-on position installing residential fireplaces and related components in customers' homes. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, pays attention to detail, works safely, and understands the importance of completing an installation correctly the first time.

Previous fireplace installation experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong experience in HVAC, plumbing, gas appliances, electrical, construction, remodeling, or other related trades.

## Responsibilities

• Install residential gas and/or wood-burning fireplaces and related equipment
• Install and connect fireplace components according to manufacturer specifications and applicable requirements
• Install venting systems and related components
• Work with gas, electrical, mechanical, and venting systems as required
• Perform framing and finishing work associated with fireplace installations
• Measure, level, fit, and properly secure fireplace components
• Identify installation issues and communicate solutions to the appropriate team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in customers' homes
• Protect customers' flooring, furniture, and property during installations
• Complete installations safely, professionally, and efficiently
• Perform quality-control checks before completing each installation
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle
• Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process
• Follow company safety procedures and manufacturer installation requirements

## What We're Looking For

• Previous fireplace installation experience preferred
• HVAC, plumbing, gas appliance, electrical, remodeling, or construction experience is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to read and follow installation instructions, diagrams, and specifications
• Ability to accurately measure, level, fit, and install components
• Comfortable working in residential homes and construction environments
• Able to work on ladders and in confined or difficult-to-access areas
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Dependable, punctual, and hardworking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license
• **Clean driving record required**
