FIRST SAMPLE SEWER

2080 Design Co. | Full-time | $25.00/hour

We're looking for an experienced sewer to make first garment samples from designer sketches, patterns and tech packs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Sew first samples with clean, professional finishes
• Review patterns and tech packs before sewing and flag any issues
• Make corrections and new samples after fittings
• Work with wovens, knits and delicate fabrics
• Keep the sample room clean and organized

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of sample sewing experience
• Able to read patterns and tech packs
• Experience with industrial machines: single-needle, overlock, coverstitch and specialty machines
• Strong eye for detail
• Sample room experience preferred

Standard hours with occasional overtime. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
