Fitter for Structural Steel Fabrication Shop

We have an opening for a fitter. We are a family-owned structural steel fab shop looking for fulltime year around fitter.

Summary of desired qualifications:

• Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years experience working in the steel fabrication industry.
• Familiarity with structural steel shop, fabrication tools, and machinery, including material handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts is required.

• Must have WABO certified or have ability to get certified immediately.
• Must be able to read and understand shop drawings and work independently.

• Must have the ability to understand instructions and safety policies.
• Structural Steel layout and fitting experience is required.

- A layout / fit / welding test may be required prior to employment.

Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00
40 Hours a week with occasional overtime.
