Fleet and Small Engine Mechanic – full or part time work available

General Summary:

We are currently seeking to hire an individual to focus on our vehicle/equipment maintenance and repair on a weekly basis. Perform minor diesel service/repairs, hydraulic repairs, minor gas engine service/repairs, and small engine repairs to maintain optimum performance. Ability to drive a truck and trailer a plus. Most of the service/repair work will be done roadside, jobsite or in our yard space. Repair tools will be made available.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
● Troubleshoot repair issues which occur to keep equipment/vehicles onsite generating revenue
● Operate heavy equipment when required
● Help maintain yard, warehouse and inventory
● Ability to work alone and stay on task
● Driving as required for pick-ups and deliveries between job sites
● And other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications
● High School diploma or equivalent
● Mechanic experience
● Hydraulic License and Bilingual a plus
● An analytical, problem-solving personality with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with vendors
● Must have strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
● Ability to effectively communicate with team members and other departments and work as part of a team
● Willingness to support projects and tasks and learn new skills as needed.

Goals and Objectives: To work with the Fleet Manager to ensure the fleet is operating at maximum efficiency
