Jimmy's CarShare is hiring a reliable mechanic to maintain our growing vehicle fleet near Denver International Airport.

This is a steady fleet position focused on keeping vehicles safe, properly maintained, and ready for rental service.

Responsibilities

Oil changes and routine maintenance

Brake and rotor replacement
Tire replacement and inspection
Suspension and common mechanical repairs
Diagnose warning lights, noises, leaks, and drivability issues
Complete a full vehicle inspection whenever a car comes in for service
Identify and repair any safety or maintenance concerns found during inspection
Confirm repairs through a proper test drive
Record completed work and report any remaining concerns

Vehicle Movement and Test Drives

Our vehicles are located near Denver International Airport. The mechanic will regularly move vehicles between our Aurora shop and the airport location using E-470.

While driving, you will also check:

Engine and transmission performance

Brakes and steering
Suspension
Vibrations or unusual noises
Warning lights
Overall highway drivability

Requirements

Previous automotive mechanic experience

Able to complete common repairs independently
Valid driver's license and safe driving history
Comfortable driving different vehicles on E-470
Reliable, punctual, and ready to begin work at 7:00 AM
Strong attention to detail
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
