Hello there:

We are a small family owned mobile pet grooming van management company based out of Gardena. We are looking for a full or part time fleet maintenance manager or technician who can help maintain our vehicles.

This person will run the office pretty autonomously and will have plenty of freedom to operate / run the office with minimal supervision but will be held accountability to results.

This is ideal for someone who is experienced with fleets management and vans, who want to run their own show and want more flexibility. Flexible work environment - held accountable to results.

Primary tasks:
-Ensure that vehicles are operational at all times
-Ability to fix minor things a plus (handyman)

• Ability to create & maintain a PM schedule / computer experience a must.
• Have the ability to interact with mechanics & tradesmen and effectively get things done efficiently and economically.
• Source new cost effective vendors & hold existing vendors accountable to maximize vehicle uptime
• Effectively document receipts, invoices, and other expenses in our system and quickbooks online system.
• Help onboard new pet grooming drivers and walk them through the vehicle operational procedures
• Be available for groomers any time they experience problems with their vehicle to help them come to a resolution
• Handle inbound phone calls from customers and groomers occassionally

-Ability to calmly manage and handle difficult customer relations is desirable.

• Fleet or automotive management experience required
• Spanish Speaking highly desirable
