Job Title: Entry-Level Flooring & Tile Installer Helper

Location: Colorado Springs, CO (and surrounding job sites)
Position Type: Full-Time / Entry-Level
Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour (Based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, hard-working individual to join our team as an entry-level Flooring and Tile Installer Helper. No professional flooring experience is required! We will fully train the right person on the job. You will work alongside experienced lead installers to learn the trades of porcelain and ceramic tile installation, carpet laying, and resilient flooring (vinyl, LVP, sheet goods). This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term, high-paying career in the skilled construction trades.
Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and transport flooring materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
• Prepare subfloors by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and removing old carpet, tack strips, or tile.
• Mix thinset, grout, and self-leveling compounds under supervision.
• Assist lead installers with measuring, cutting, and positioning porcelain/ceramic tiles, carpet, and resilient flooring.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace by sweeping and managing debris.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older with a strong willingness to learn a skilled trade.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly, climb ladders, and spend long hours kneeling or bending.
• Reliable transportation to travel to various job sites around Colorado Springs.
• Punctuality, a strong work ethic, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

• Basic hand tool knowledge is a plus, but not required.
