Foreman and Skilled Tradesman need for a small remodel company

SKILLED REMODELING TRADESMAN & FOREMAN – FULL-TIME – AUSTIN AREA

Wild Hare Construction & Remodeling is looking for experienced, dependable tradesmen to join our remodeling crews. We are also looking for an experienced Foreman / Lead Carpenter capable of running a crew and taking ownership of work in the field.

We work primarily on high-end residential remodels, additions, and whole-home renovations throughout the Austin area.

SKILLED TRADESMAN

We need someone who is comfortable doing a variety of remodeling work, including:

Demolition

Wood framing
Installing doors and windows
Interior trim and finish carpentry
Cabinet and hardware installation
Punch-out and final finish work
General remodeling and repair work

You don't have to be an expert at every trade, but you must know how to work with tools, read a tape, make clean cuts, solve basic problems, and produce professional-quality work.

FOREMAN / LEAD CARPENTER

Our foreman needs all of the above skills plus the ability to:

Lead and work alongside a small crew

Read plans and understand project scope
Lay out and execute framing and finish work
Plan the day's work and keep the crew productive
Coordinate with the Project Manager and subcontractors
Identify problems before they become expensive problems
Maintain quality standards and keep the jobsite organized
Communicate clearly about progress, materials, and issues

This is a working foreman position. We aren't looking for someone who stands around telling everyone else what to do. You should be comfortable putting your bags on and working alongside your crew.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You must have:

Professional remodeling or carpentry experience

Reliable transportation
Basic hand tools
Valid driver's license
Ability to work full-time
Good communication skills
Pride in your workmanship

We want people who show up, work hard, think ahead, take care of the customer's home, and want to get better at what they do.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Typical Hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Employment: W-2
Pay: Based on experience and position

Skilled Tradesman: approximately $20–$27/hr DOE

Foreman / Lead Carpenter: approximately $27–$35/hr DOE

Paid holidays. Consistent remodeling work with opportunities to grow as the company grows.
