Foreman - Earthworks/Utilities

Established, local earthwork and underground utility contractor is looking for an outstanding candidate to join its team as a Foreman.
We are seeking motivated individuals who have experience running large and small job sites.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Prior Supervisory experience within the civil construction industry.
2. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams effectively in challenging work environments.
3. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
4. Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple operations simultaneously while maintaining a safe work environment.
5. Reliable and proactive, with strong initiative and consistent follow-through.
6. Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing conditions & project demands.

Responsibilities & Duties
-Able to read and review plans and specifications.

• Coordinate with general contractors & subcontractors.
• Prepare Daily reports / Work Orders tracking extra work, change of conditions, time sheets, field files, etc.
• Direct and oversee field crews
• Attend Precon meetings as well as weekly jobsite meetings
• Operation of heavy machinery including excavators, backhoes & skid steers in a safe & efficient manner.
• Review and document changes made to drawings and plans
• Time management of crews and self to maintain daily schedules, delivery schedules and daily productivity
