About the Position

This isn't just an overnight position - it's the on-ramp to our Foreman leadership track. From day one, you're enrolled in a structured training program designed to move you from Apprentice to Foreman 1, leading your own crew. No prior experience is required, just reliability and a willingness to learn.

You'll start at $24.00-$25.00 per hour, and be eligible for your first raise after successfully completing our 90-day Technician training. You will then enter our Foreman training program, which will prepare you for the Boston and State License exams, putting you on track to reach $28.00 per hour as a Foreman 1 within 6 months.

Job Description

As a Foreman-in-Training, you'll first master the technical side of the trade - hands-on cleaning of commercial kitchen hoods, HVAC, and dryer systems - building the field expertise every strong Foreman needs before stepping into a leadership role. Crews travel to client sites in company vehicles, so a current driver's license in good standing is required.

Schedule

Currently hiring for the Overnight Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 9:30pm - 5am). Exact shift start and finish times may vary daily depending on scheduled job times. Shifts usually run 8-10 hours.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation for the Overnight Shift ranges from $24 to $25 an hour based on experience and licenses, with a defined path to $28.00/hour as Foreman 1. Cochrane Ventilation provides training and sets up testing for any employee who wishes to become a certified kitchen exhaust inspector and cleaner. Overtime work, including weekends, is available for those who are qualified and wish to work. We pay onsite, travel, and overtime with a minimum 40-hour work week. Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer (no visa sponsorship provided)
• Valid driver's license in good standing and clean RMV driving record
• Ability to pass a drug test upon hire
• Ability to pass a background check upon hire
• Professional customer interactions
• Must have a good attendance history
• Must be good with tools and equipment, hands-on
• Proficient with modern smartphones and tablets
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Hood cleaning experience preferred
• Duct cleaning experience preferred
• Must communicate well in English, both verbal and written
