Foreman
Description
Please read through the whole ad before responding. General contractor seeking an individual looking for a long-term opportunity with experience in general carpentry. I am a general contractor, we do a lot of additions and large-scale remodels. We have a full shop and office in merrimack, some company vehicles with the interest to add more as we have somebody it would provide use for. The things it is most important you are experienced in-framing, windows, doors, trim, kitchens and finish carpentry some flooring and other odds and ends. I have absolutely no problem with somebody being primarily experienced in some of those than others everybody has a specialty/preference. The ability to set the pace and lead/work with people still learning is a requirement (no yellers). We install things to the manufacture specifications- essentially read the directions to make sure the customer gets the warranty on the window etc. We maintain a professional environment and treat each other and our customers with respect. We work safely and have quality equipment. We have our own excavation equipment and i take pride in making things as easy as possible within reason(auger for deck footings, forks on skid steer to move lifts of lumber when framing without a lull etc) we currently offer a 401k, accrued paid time off and paid holidays. A few unconditional things -ability to pass a drug test, no cigarettes, no drunks, driver's license and your own vehicle, pass a background check, positive attitude, ability to take direction as to how we do things (example:we clean our jobs every day, not to perfection but we don't leave things a mess overnight)
I am not a slave driver, i do not yell. I am always more concerned with us doing a good job safely than going fast. We work 7-330 monday through friday. The furthest we have been from merrimack in the last 3-4 years is about 25 minutes. If you read through the whole ad, please begin with that in your response. I am overwhelmed with drawing plans, estimates, procuring materials for jobs etc looking to hand the on the site torch at least some of the time so i can do my job better. Please send references, your current role and why you're leaving it (or entertaining leaving it)
Thankyou for your time.
