JOB DESCRIPTION
The Foreman Production Arborist is responsible for overseeing daily tree care operations, leading production
crews, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and
industry regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical arboriculture knowledge, and the ability to
coordinate crew activities while maintaining a safe work environment. Involves recordkeeping and maintenance of
WCA property.
WORK HOURS
Typical working hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
five days per week. Foreman is expected to assist with overtime work and maintenance when necessary.
Saturday work will be compensated at a daily rate.
SALARY RANGE
Starting base salary $32.40 per hour depending on experience.

- Evaluate crew performance
- Establish and maintain effective relationship role
- All tools and equipment necessary to perform job duties are provided by the company
- Review day’s activities
- Prepare traffic control
- Attends crew meetings on and off site
- Perform skilled tree maintenance
- Organize and supervise crew
- Properly operates a wood/brush chipper
- Ensure safe operation on job site
- Report any malfunction, damage or industrial injury
- Loads and unloads dump trucks with logs, brush and debris
- Safe utilization of chain saws and hand tools
- Keeps work area clean and orderly
- Drives/Services/Inspects/Fuels/Cleans equipment and vehicles
- Maintain equipment
- File daily reports and receipts
- Evaluate crew performance
- Attend education seminars and safety meetings
- Perform other duties required.
- Class B Driver’s License
- ISA Certified Tree Worker and/or ISA Certified Arborist
- TCIA Certified Tree care Safety Professional
- Crew members, Foreman, Supervisors, Area Managers, Management
- General public, customers, inspectors, public agents, merchants, prospects
