Electrical Trainee and Certified Electricians

Dynamic, reputable South Bay/East Bay commercial electrical contractor seeks skilled, certified, FOREMAN and JOURNEYMAN electricians for work throughout the Bay Area. Established in 1989, we specialize in new construction, tenant improvements and service/maintenance work on a huge array of project types, for a wide variety of long-term, prominent clients. These are full-time positions with significant growth and lifelong career potential with a company that cares as much about its people as it does about its reputation for quality work. We consistently have work, and the jobs are challenging and rewarding!
Please note: most of our work is in the greater San Jose area although our physical office has recently relocated to Pleasanton.
FOREMAN AND JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIANS MUST:
- Be skilled and experienced in the electrical construction trade, and be quality- and results-driven.
- Hold a valid, current CA Electrician Certification card.
- Be able to read electrical blueprints and specifications and comprehend complex electrical and building diagrams.
- Have working knowledge of NEC, CEC, Cal OSHA and local jurisdiction codes.
- Retain customer confidence by maintaining professional demeanor, working with integrity, communicating issues or concerns, and completing the job in a timely manner.
- Possess professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas, and have excellent communication skills.
- Possess a "Safety First" attitude, and be motivated, disciplined, dependable and dedicated to working safely and professionally with other craftsmen and skilled trades on busy jobsites.
- Be able to work independently, or with supervision, and under pressure and deadlines.
- Be able to work at heights on a ladder or lift as required.
- Be able to maintain confidentially.
- Have reliable transportation, preferably your own.
- Possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Own and/or utilize proper tools of the trade.
