FORKLIFT DRIVER / SHIPPING & YARD POSITION Auto Recycling Yard – Full-

ABC Auto Wrecking is looking for an experienced and dependable forklift driver to join our team.

Job Duties:

• Safely operate a forklift with long forks to move vehicles throughout the salvage yard
• Lift and position vehicles securely on wheel stands
• Load and unload vehicles, auto parts, pallets, and freight
• Build and wrap shipping pallets containing engines, transmissions, hoods, deck lids, doors, and other automotive parts
• Secure parts using straps, steel or plastic banding, and banding machines
• Inspect pallets and loads to ensure they are stable and properly secured before shipping
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assist with other yard and shipping duties when needed

Requirements:

• Previous forklift experience is required
• Experience operating a forklift with long forks and moving vehicles is strongly preferred
• Experience building, wrapping, strapping, and banding heavy freight pallets is required
• Must understand safe load placement, balance, and weight distribution
• Must be able to work safely around vehicles, employees, and customers
• Must be dependable, show up on time, and work well with a team
• Must be able to follow instructions and work without constant supervision
• Must be able to lift heavy parts and work outdoors in Arizona weather
• Reliable transportation to and from work is required
• Automotive, salvage-yard, warehouse, or freight experience is preferred

Schedule:

Monday through Friday
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Full-time position

Pay:

$18–$22 per hour, depending on experience.
