Logistics facility work. Yard work, including unloading and lifting. Moving crates/containers MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH LARGE CONTAINERS AND CRATES.

8am to 4pm weekdays, dayshift. Job consists of offloading rail carts and reloading the truck. Attire is long sleeve shift, long pants, boots.

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments
Conduct order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate fulfillment
Assist with shipping & receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments
Perform heavy lifting and materials handling in accordance with OSHA safety standards
Support warehouse activities such as inventory management, order picking, and staging products for shipment
Maintain mechanical knowledge of equipment to troubleshoot minor issues and ensure safety compliance
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on daily operations and adhere to all safety protocols
Qualifications

Must be certified forklift operator with valid certification documentation
Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar environments
Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse work and heavy machinery
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picker technology
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout shifts
Mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting of equipment issues
Strong attention to detail in order picking, shipping & receiving processes
