Job title: Carpenter - Framers and Drywall Hangers

Compensation: $24.00-25.00 per hour

Carpenter - Framers Job Duties Include:

Blueprint Interpretation: Reading construction plans and architectural drawings to determine the dimensions and layout of the framework.

Material Preparation: Measuring, marking, cutting, and shaping wood and other building materials using hand and power tools.

Structural Assembly: Constructing and installing floor systems, wall studs, roof trusses, and subflooring.

Job Requirements for Framer & Drywall Finisher:
· M-F split shifts: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm and weekends as needed.
· Must have own tools
· Must have own transportations

Framer Job Description: Location Norfolk

Drywall Finisher Job Description: Location Yorktown

Installation: Measure, cut, and fit panels to specifications, including precise holes for electrical outlets, plumbing, and vents.

Fastening: Attach wallboards to wood or metal studs using screws, nails, or adhesives.

Finishing (Mudding/Taping): Apply joint tape over seams and cover with multiple layers of joint compound to conceal screws and indentations.

Sanding: Sand dried compound smooth and patch imperfections to achieve a flawless finish.
