Position: Freelance Woodworking Technician

Leerform is seeking a skilled woodworking technician for freelance, project-based work. Based in Bushwick, Brooklyn, our full-service studio focuses exclusively on fabrication and crating for the fine art community. We’re a friendly team that values quality craftsmanship and strong relationships—with both our clients and our collaborators.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to grow. The ideal candidate will have:

• Crate fabrication experience and proficiency with standard woodworking tools and equipment
• Comfort working daily in a professional woodshop environment
• Ability to read and accurately follow detailed instructions and shop drawings
• A strong understanding of shop safety practices
• Enthusiasm for collaboration and being part of a dedicated team
• A high level of initiative, work ethic, and punctuality
• Willingness to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
