## COMPENSATION, SCHEDULE & BENEFITS

**Company:** Pacific Environmental Services Co. (PESCO)

**Compensation:** $21–$35/hour, depending on experience. Higher compensation available for qualified ICC U1 and/or U2-certified fuel system installers and experienced heavy equipment operators.

**Employment Type:** Full-Time

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday | 4x10s or 5x8s depending on project needs

## WHERE YOU'LL BE WORKING

PESCO is based in Port Townsend, Washington, but our crews work on projects throughout **Western Washington and the Pacific Northwest**.

Our jobsites include gas stations, truck stops, commercial and industrial fueling facilities, airports, marine facilities, military installations, and state and federal government facilities.

Some projects are located in **secure military and government facilities where security clearance is required**.

**You do not need to live in Port Townsend to apply.** We welcome qualified applicants from throughout Western Washington who are willing to travel to our project locations.

## EMPLOYMENT & SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

While previous fuel industry experience is not required, all applicants must meet the following employment requirements:

  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Be eligible to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for assigned military and government projects
  • Be willing to work at military installations and secured government facilities
  • Be willing to travel to jobsites throughout Western Washington
  • Be able to perform physically demanding construction work
  • Be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Follow established safety procedures and work as part of a crew
  • Be dependable, accountable, and willing to learn

Pacific Environmental Services Co. (PESCO) is a family-owned **fuel systems general contractor** serving the Pacific Northwest since 1987.

We build, install, repair, and maintain the systems that store and deliver fuel.

Our work ranges from neighborhood gas stations and truck stops to commercial fueling facilities, military installations, aviation and marine fueling systems, and emergency generator fuel systems.

Our projects combine excavation, underground utilities, specialized piping, concrete, heavy equipment operation, and fuel system installation.

This isn't the same jobsite every day, and it isn't just another general labor position. It's an opportunity to develop valuable skills in a specialized construction industry.

## THE TYPE OF WORK WE DO

Our crews perform a variety of specialized construction activities, including:

  • **Fuel Station Construction:** Building new gas stations, truck stops, and commercial fueling facilities, along with upgrading existing stations.
  • **Fuel Storage Tank Installation:** Excavating, removing, setting, and installing underground and above-ground fuel storage tanks.
  • **Fuel Piping Systems:** Measuring, cutting, fitting, bonding, and installing fiberglass and steel fuel piping.
  • **Excavation & Site Work:** Trenching, backfilling, grading, compacting, and preparing sites for fuel system installations.
  • **Concrete Work:** Demolition, saw cutting, forming, reinforcing, pouring, and finishing concrete.
  • **Commercial & Industrial Fueling:** Installing fuel systems for fleets, marine facilities, airports, and emergency generators.
  • **Fuel System Repairs & Upgrades:** Repairing, replacing, and upgrading existing fueling equipment and infrastructure.
