FULL-TIME FINISH CARPENTER / CABINET BUILDER – EXPO & EVENT FABRICATION
Pay: $25–$30 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years preferred; 5–10+ years ideal
We are a local expo, trade show, and event production company looking for an experienced Finish Carpenter / Cabinet Builder to join our fabrication team full-time.
This is a hands-on position for someone who knows how to build high-quality finished products from drawings, measurements, and concepts. Our projects include custom trade show displays, exhibit structures, counters, cabinets, kiosks, event displays, retail-style fixtures, scenic elements, and other custom fabrication.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build custom cabinets, counters, display units, walls, exhibits, and event structures
Finish carpentry and detailed fabrication work
Read and work from drawings, plans, measurements, and specifications
Cut, assemble, laminate, sand, finish, and install fabricated components
Work with plywood, MDF, laminates, hardwoods, plastics, and other materials
Operate table saws, panel saws, routers, miter saws, drills, sanders, and other woodworking equipment
Build projects accurately and square to specification
Perform onsite installation and teardown when required
Repair and modify existing exhibit and event components
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Work with our production and fabrication team to meet project deadlines
REQUIREMENTS
5–10 years of professional carpentry, cabinet building, millwork, exhibit fabrication, or similar experience
Strong finish carpentry skills
Cabinet-building experience strongly preferred
Ability to accurately measure, cut, fabricate, and assemble
Comfortable using professional woodworking and shop equipment
Ability to read plans and understand dimensions
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Reliable and able to work independently
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing projects and deadlines
Valid driver's license preferred
Ability to lift and move materials commonly used in fabrication and installation
PAY
Starting pay is $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
This is a full-time position with an established local company working in the trade show, expo, event, printing, and custom fabrication industry.
