Full-time garage door installer and technician

Johnson & Johnson Overhead Door is a locally owned business that has served the surrounding communities for over 20 years, with a dedication to quality and craftsmanship. We are now looking to add an installer/technician to our company. This is a small company where you will have the opportunity to learn from the best.
Hiring for an experienced individual for a full-time position.
Pay based on experience and performance.
Position Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work comfortably at heights on ladders and lifts.
• Strong punctuality and the ability to follow a dynamic daily schedule.
• Commitment to high-quality workmanship and superior customer service.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive drug and background check.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Compensation is competitive and based on experience and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Install and hang garage doors, tracks, springs, cables, and hardware with precision, ensuring smooth operation and perfect alignment.
• Measure, cut, and fit components; read blueprints and schematics; perform necessary fabrication or trimming for a custom fit.
• Utilize hand tools and apply basic electrical knowledge to install and adjust door operators in compliance with safety codes.
• Maintain a safe and organized worksite, strictly following all building codes and safety protocols.
• Communicate clearly with customers to provide service explanations and address questions.
• Perform final testing, lubrication of moving parts, and precise adjustments to ensure reliable, long-term performance and total customer satisfaction.
