Full-Time Handyman - Roofing, Electric, Plumbing - $1,500/Week

Cohen Stone Realty is hiring a full-time handyman / maintenance technician to take care of our residential rental properties in Newark and the surrounding North Jersey area.

PAY: $1,500 per week. Full time, steady year-round work.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Roofing repairs - patching leaks, flashing, shingle and flat roof work
• Electrical - outlets, switches, fixtures, panels, troubleshooting
• Plumbing - faucets, toilets, drains, water heaters, leak repairs
• Carpentry and drywall - doors, locks, windows, framing, patching, flooring
• Painting and full unit turnovers between tenants
• Appliance troubleshooting and replacement
• Exterior work - gates, fencing, gutters, steps, general cleanup
• Whatever else comes up day to day. We're looking for someone who can handle a little bit of everything.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Several years of hands-on experience across multiple trades
• Your own tools and reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Works independently, keeps track of their own jobs, communicates clearly
• Shows up on time and is respectful and professional with tenants
• Able to handle occasional after-hours emergency calls
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, not required
