Full-Time Maintenance Technician / Handyman - Newark, NJ - $1,000/week

Property management company looking for an experienced, full-time maintenance technician to handle work orders across our residential portfolio in Newark, NJ. This is not a single building. You'll cover a group of homes and apartments around Newark, so you'll be on the move daily.

Work ranges from routine calls to more involved repairs and troubleshooting, so we need someone who can diagnose problems and see a job through, not just follow a checklist.

WHAT YOU'LL HANDLE:

• Electrical: diagnosing and repairing circuits, fixtures, panels, switches and outlets
• Plumbing: leaks, drain and supply lines, water heaters, toilets, faucets and fixtures
• Full apartment turnovers: drywall, painting, flooring, carpentry, doors, cabinets, getting units rent-ready
• Appliance and HVAC troubleshooting and repair
• Cleaning and general upkeep of units and properties
• Clear communication with tenants and the office

REQUIREMENTS:

• Solid, hands-on experience across electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general repairs
• Able to troubleshoot and work independently with minimal supervision
• Must have your own vehicle and valid driver's license
• Own tools
• Reliable and punctual
• Available for occasional after-hours emergency calls
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

SCHEDULE & PAY:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. $1,000/week, steady work. Must be able to respond to emergencies outside regular hours when needed.
