District Painting Co. is a Portland-based commercial and residential painting contractor working across Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. We're growing and hiring painters — both experienced commercial painters and reliable up-and-comers who can paint, show up, and want to get better at the trade.

Here's the deal: if you're dependable and you can handle a brush and a roller, we can teach you the rest. A lot of skill in this trade is learned on the job, and we're happy to train the right person. What we can't teach is showing up on time and caring about your work — bring that, and we'll help you grow into a sharp commercial painter.

THE WORK: commercial tenant improvements, historic restoration, multi-family repaints, and prevailing-wage government projects. It's steady, full-time, year-round paint crew work that builds real skills.

WHAT YOU'LL GET:

• Pay of $22–$30/hr depending on experience — newer painters start at the lower end and earn more as your skills grow (pay reviewed at 90 days)
• On-the-job training and mentorship to level up your technique, including spray skills

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• You can paint — comfortable with a brush and roller on all paint types (spray experience is a plus, not a must; we'll teach you)
• Reliable: you show up on time, every time, and own your work
• A safe, positive, professional attitude on every job and with clients
• Coachable and eager to improve
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Your basic painter's tools — we supply the rest
