About the Role

TJR Management, LLC is a residential apartment property management company with over 25 years in business with properties across Bergen, Passaic, and Morris County seeking a skilled, reliable, and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team full-time. You will be responsible for a variety of interior and exterior maintenance and repair tasks across our residential apartment communities.

Responsibilities

Sheetrock installation, taping, mudding, and finishing

Interior and exterior painting
Installation of trim, molding, doors, and hardware
Basic plumbing repairs (fixtures, faucets, toilets, supply lines)
Basic electrical work (outlets, switches, fixtures)
General property upkeep and repairs as needed
Travel between properties in Bergen, Passaic, and Morris County

Requirements

Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (required)
Proven experience in sheetrock, painting, trim/door installation, and basic plumbing & electrical
Must own basic hand tools; major specialty tools provided by TJR Management as needed
Ability to lift heavy objects and climb ladders
Ability to work independently and manage tasks across multiple job sites
Strong attention to detail and professional attitude
Punctual, dependable, and trustworthy
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits

$20.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
Paid major holidays
Gas/mileage reimbursement for travel between properties
