Full-Time Carpenter

Location: Great Diamond Island, Portland, Maine

We are seeking an experienced and qualified full-time Carpenter for residential remodeling projects on Great Diamond Island in Portland, Maine.

Position Requirements

The successful candidate must possess:

Demonstrated experience and proficiency in all phases of residential carpentry, including framing through finish carpentry
The ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
A basic set of professional hand tools appropriate for residential carpentry
A valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
Verifiable professional references
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship
Dependability, punctuality, and a professional approach to working with clients and other members of the construction team
Compensation

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and demonstrated skill level. Additional transportation compensation will be provided for time spent traveling by ferry to and from Great Diamond Island.

The job site is accessible by approximately a 20-minute ferry ride from Portland, and applicants must be willing and able to meet the transportation requirements associated with working on the island.
