Furniture Installer

Receive Deliver Install (RDI) is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team of commercial furniture installers in the St. Louis area.

Our installers deliver, assemble, and install office furniture for businesses, schools, hospitals, and other commercial customers. Experience is helpful, but we are willing to train motivated candidates who enjoy working with their hands and being part of a team.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver, unload, assemble, and install commercial office furniture
• Install desks, workstations, cubicles, tables, shelving, cabinets, and related products
• Read installation drawings, floor plans, and furniture specifications
• Use hand tools and power tools safely
• Protect customer property and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
• Load and unload trucks at our warehouse and customer locations
• Follow instructions from foremen and project managers
• Work professionally around customers, contractors, and other trades
• Travel to project locations throughout the St. Louis area
• Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements

Qualifications

• Dependable and able to report to work on time
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Able to work effectively as part of a crew
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Able to lift and carry furniture and materials weighing approximately 50–75 pounds
• Able to stand, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and perform physical work throughout the day
• Willing to work occasional overtime, early mornings, evenings, or weekends when projects require it
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Previous furniture installation, construction, carpentry, moving, warehouse, or delivery experience is a plus
• Commercial furniture installation experience is strongly preferred but not required
