Furniture Technician ( In Home)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Furniture Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

Assess damaged or worn furniture to determine the appropriate repair method and materials needed
Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and sewing machines to disassemble, repair, and reassemble furniture components
Interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications to guide repairs and restorations accurately
Perform manual cutting of fabrics, upholstery, or other materials to match original designs or specifications
Handle heavy lifting safely when moving or repositioning furniture during repair processes
Ensure attention to detail in finishing touches such as sanding, staining, upholstering, and sealing for a polished final product
Experience

Proven experience in furniture repair, auto restoration, or related manufacturing fields
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, sewing machines, and manual cutting equipment
Strong understanding of interpreting technical drawings and manufacturing instructions
Experience with manual handling and heavy lifting in a workshop environment
Knowledge of upholstery techniques including sewing and fabric manipulation
Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining high standards of quality and precision
Prior work involving assembly or reassembly of furniture components is highly desirable
