Garage Door Technician / Trainee – Learn a Skilled Trade

Established local garage door company serving the Penn Hills and greater Pittsburgh area is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person to train in residential garage door repair and installation.

Garage door experience is a plus, but not required for the right person. Experience in construction, carpentry, remodeling, maintenance, mechanical work, or another hands-on trade is a strong plus.

You must have a valid driver's license and preferably your own reliable pickup truck or work van. I'm looking for someone dependable, comfortable using hand and power tools, comfortable working from ladders, willing to learn, and eventually capable of handling service calls and installations independently.

This would start part-time/as needed while you learn the trade, with the opportunity for additional work as you gain experience and demonstrate that you can handle jobs properly.
