Gardener, Landscape Technician

WE ARE DEDICATED TO ORGANIC GARDENING! Mad Hatter Garden Designs is looking for passionate, experienced, full-time gardeners. Do the work you love and make a difference! We specialize in organic gardening, garden design, installation and maintenance for high-end residential clients. This is NOT a mow and blow crew. We are looking for hard-working individuals with a positive attitude who will treat coworkers and clients with respect and kindness.

Requirements:
1. At least 1 year experience working on a landscaping crew and/or independent gardening in a professional capacity.
2. Extensive knowledge of tree, shrub, perennial plant identification, installation, maintenance and pruning. Integrated Pest Management, pest and disease identification and organic treatment. Pass a plant I.D. and pruning test.
3. Operate battery-powered shears, string trimmer and backpack blower. Be physically fit and easily lift 50 lbs. Be confident working on a 10’ ladder
4. Efficiently manage your time on site and at our shop.
5. Have working knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance
6. Have a professional, team-building attitude, with a focus on excellent client service.
7. Use Google shared drive Files, Google Docs, Sheets and Forms.
8. Have valid Oregon driver's license and clean driving record. Fluent in spoken and written English, pass criminal history check.

*Work schedule winter hours Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Summer schedule Tuesday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
