Gas Leak Surveyor

Will train. Gas Leak Surveyors are responsible for walking assigned routes to inspect natural gas pipelines and related facilities for potential gas leaks using specialized leak detection equipment. This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, accurately identifying and documenting findings, and reporting any potential hazards in accordance with company safety procedures. Surveyors must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to walk for extended periods while paying close attention to detail. Must have own reliable transportation. Full-time Permanent Position
Responsibilities:
Walk designated routes to inspect gas systems.
Use electronic gas leak detection equipment to locate potential leaks.
Document survey findings accurately and completely.
Report hazardous conditions immediately.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications:

No experience required – will train the right person.
Must be able to walk several miles each day.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and dependability.
MUST PASS A DRUG SCREEN AND BACKGROUND CHECK.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
