Gate Technician

We are a growing, family owned company serving residential and commercial customers throughout the Bay Area and Sacramento area. We are looking for a motivated, reliable technician to join our team. Duties

• Diagnose and repair automatic sliding and swing gate systems.
• Install and service gate operators, access control systems, keypads, remotes, safety devices, and photo eyes.
• Repair and install residential and commercial gate operators.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Clearly explain repair recommendations to customers.
• Complete work orders and photos using an iPad or smartphone.
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with automatic gates, garage doors, electrical, low-voltage, welding, or a related mechanical trade.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls.
• Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
• Welding experience is a plus.
