Description
Job Title: General Foreman
Location: On-Site, Denali
Start Date: Immediately
Compensation & Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead field crews on commercial construction projects.
- Perform skilled carpentry work including framing, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, doors, hardware, and general construction.
- Material handling / operate equipment: truck, equipment trailer, tool trailer, telehandler, skidsteer, man lift, etc.
- Coordinate daily and weekly work activities with Superintendent and/or Project Manager
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Propose solutions to challenges or design discrepancies as they arise.
- Maintain project schedules and productivity; communicate sequence of work to crews and subcontractors.
- Coordinate subcontractors and deliveries.
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Perform quality control inspections.
- Train and mentor apprentice carpenters.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites.
- Maintain project records via computer, e-mail, photos, etc.
- Minimum 10+ years of commercial construction experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage crews and oversee multiple aspects of construction projects
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Valid Alaska Drivers License
