We’re a small, locally owned commercial diving company looking for a reliable, experienced mechanic to join our team. This is an opportunity to become an important part of a growing operation where your skills and work ethic will make a real difference.
This isn’t a large corporate shop. You’ll work directly with other employees and have the opportunity to work on a variety of equipment used in commercial diving and marine operations.
What You’ll Do
Maintain, diagnose, and repair company vehicles, boats, trailers, generators, pumps, compressors, and other equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Keep equipment safe, reliable, and ready for jobs
Assist with fabrication, welding, and general shop maintenance when needed
Help maintain and organize tools, parts, and equipment
Work independently while communicating closely with the owner and dive crew
Help load equipment for a job
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 3+ years of mechanical experience preferred. Automotive, diesel, marine, heavy equipment, or similar experience is a plus.
Skills: Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Experience with engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, welding, or marine equipment is highly valued.
Reliability: We’re a small operation, so showing up, getting the job done, and taking pride in your work are extremely important.
Mindset: We’re looking for someone who is honest, hands-on, resourceful, safety-minded, and willing to tackle whatever needs to be done to keep the operation running.
What We Offer
$25–$40.00+ per hour, based on experience and skill level
Full-time, Monday - Friday schedule
Paid sick leave
Varied work — no two days are exactly the same
If you’re a skilled mechanic who enjoys working with your hands, solving problems, and keeping equipment operating safely and reliably, we’d like to hear from you.
Please include a brief description of your mechanical experience and the types of equipment you’ve worked on.
