Job description:

Looking for a field service technician to perform Planned Maintenance & Onsite repairs, troubleshooting and repairs on several different makes and model generators and associated components.

Power Generator Technician Qualifications and Skills;

Should have at least 2 years relative experience, mechanical experience.
Must have clean driving record, attention to detail, clean and organized
Maintain spare parts inventory on truck, company supplied
Complete all paperwork in timely manner
Report any service problems to supervisor immediately
Working knowledge of basic computer systems
Keep service vehicle clean and neat
Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting and startup of new generators and transfer switches
Conduct troubleshooting, repair, and maintain diesel and gaseous powered engines, generators ends, electronics and controls
Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude

Ability to troubleshoot and work independently

Ability to read an interpret wiring diagrams
Possess good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Clean driver's record
