Description
Elite Generators. a Southern California Generac dealer serving residential and commercial customers, is seeking experienced Generator Installers and Service Technicians to join our team. Owner supervised and some training available.
Candidates with experience in either installation or generator service are encouraged to apply. Experience in both areas is especially valuable. Gas Plumbing knowledge a plus! Must be physically able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, reach. Safely use hand tools, power tools, batteries, parts, and equipment as required.
GENERATOR INSTALLER:
Install residential and commercial Generac standby generators and transfer switches.
Perform conduit work, wire pulling, electrical connections, and equipment setup.
Generator placement and complete installations according to approved plans and manufacture specifications.
Comprehend installation manuals, electrical plans.
Prepare installed equipment for startup, testing, and inspection.
Identify and resolve (if any) installation-related electrical or mechanical issues.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
Taking clear pictures of before, during and after of work performed.
Communicate clearly with customers, contractors, inspectors, and our office staff.
Properly and thoroughly complete daily job site reports.
Obtain client signature upon completion of installation.
SERVICE TECHNICIAN:
Perform routine maintenance, diagnose, repair and test residential and commercial Generac generator systems.
Responsibilities Include:
Travel to customers' homes and businesses in a company-provided service vehicle.
Follow Generac service manuals and diagnostic procedures.
Reading and identifying generator fault codes, alarms, and operating conditions.
Determining the correct repair based on diagnostic results. Repairing or replacing defective generator components.
Changing engine oil, oil filters, air filters, spark plugs, and other maintenance components.
Inspecting, testing, cleaning, and replacing generator batteries.
Inspecting fuel systems, wiring, connections, switches, and generator enclosures.
Verifying completed repairs have corrected the problem.
Follow all company procedures, manufactured guidelines and safety requirements.
Keeping assigned service vehicle clean.
Taking clear pictures of any issues.
Properly and thoroughly complete service reports.
Obtain client signature upon completion of service.
