Del Ray Glass is looking for an experienced Glazing Mechanic and a Skilled Laborer to join our growing team in the Washington, DC area. If you're dependable, take pride in quality workmanship, and want to grow your career in the glass industry, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Install mirrors, replacement glass, windows, doors, screens, and specialty glass.
Run residential service routes by responding to customer calls, assessing glass needs on-site, and completing repairs or replacements efficiently.
Work as part of a small, experienced crew on residential and commercial projects.
Safely measure, cut, fit, seal, and secure a variety of glass products.
Represent Del Ray Glass professionally in customers' homes and commercial settings by providing courteous service and maintaining a clean work area.
Load and unload glass, tools, and materials while maintaining company vehicles and equipment.
Communicate with crew leaders regarding job progress, material needs, and any issues encountered on-site.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Experience installing glass, including mirrors, windows, doors, curtain walls, or similar products. We'll train the right candidate on our specific processes.
Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills while working in occupied homes and commercial buildings.
Ability to safely handle, cut, and carry glass of various sizes and weights.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (company vehicle provided).
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, and reaching.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience installing shower doors, hardware, and frameless enclosures.
Familiarity with municipal service work or high-volume residential service routes.
Completion of a glazier apprenticeship or trade school program.

Compensation & Benefits
$25–$30 per hour, based on experience.
