Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Glazier with a strong background in Shower enclosure installation, window work, insulated glass units, and glazing systems. You will be a key member of our field team, delivering precise, high-quality glass and glazing installations across residential and commercial projects. If you take pride in craftsmanship and have a proven track record in these specific trades, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Shower Installations

Measure and install frameless, semi-frameless, and framed shower enclosures.
Fit and seal shower doors, panels, and hardware to manufacturer and code specifications.
Ensure watertight seals and proper drainage alignment on all shower assemblies.
Repair, replace, and re-seal existing shower glass and enclosure components.

Insulated Glass & Glazing

Install, replace, and seal insulated glass units (IGUs) in residential and commercial frames.
Work with storefront systems, curtain wall glazing, and window wall assemblies.
Apply and finish glazing tape, glazing compound, and structural sealants.

General

Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and installation specifications.
Maintain a clean, safe job site in compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and customers on site.
Transport, handle, and store glass materials safely to prevent damage.

Requirements

Minimum experience: 3+ years of hands-on glazing.

  • Demonstrated experience working with glass, including re-glazing and pane replacement.
  • Proficiency installing and sealing insulated glass units across multiple frame types.
  • Working knowledge of glazing materials: compounds, tapes, sealants, setting blocks, and spacers.
  • Ability to accurately measure, score, and cut glass to specification.
  • Familiarity with storefront, curtain wall, or commercial glazing systems (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying site conditions.
