HANDYMAN /CARPENTER (with CAR MECHANIC SKILLS a plus) (Residential and light commercial) (Vashon)
➤Location of work: VASHON, WA. Will pay for ferry
- Searching for a HANDYMAN /CARPENTER with CAR MECHANIC skills capable of doing maintenance/carpentry, rot repair, drywall/mudding, and car mechanic repairs.
- Flexible hours; you tell us how much or how little you want to work. Typical 30 hours a week.
- PERFECT for "need to get out of the house" semi-retired, or drop-off kids to school schedule, or caretaking schedule workaround
- We'll provide all large tools if needed
- MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH HEIGHTS, LADDERS, AND ROOFS
- Must be able to work by himself/herself
- Relaxed work environment - no stress - Country Life/Island Life - Work shifts are 5-6hrs per day
- Preference is given to someone living in Vashon. If person not found on Vashon: MUST live close to Fauntleroy (West Seattle), or Pt Defiance (Tacoma) or Southworth (Port Orchard) Ferry, no exceptions.
- Island pay at $35/hr DOE (or if you pay ferry) - Performance bonuses are given at the end of projects,
- Flexible hours, mileage reimbursement, tool purchase program,pieceworkk, performancebonus,s and other benefits available
- License required. A car/truck is required
