Handyman - Full-Time W-2 - $24-32/hr

Kolmo Construction is a general contractor based in Seattle. Homes, commercial, business & public works. We work across King, Snohomish and Pierce counties, and we're hiring a full-time handyman to join our crew as a W-2 employee.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Repairs and punch-list work on home remodels and commercial tenant improvements
• Drywall patching and texture, trim and molding, and hanging and adjusting doors
• Paint touch-up, caulking, and minor tile and deck repairs
• Hardware and accessory installs: cabinet hardware, shelving, blinds and grab bars
• Keeping job sites clean and safe, and taking before-and-after photos of your work

Electrical and plumbing work goes to licensed trades, so this role does not need a license.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of handyman, carpentry or remodel experience
• Your own basic hand tools
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
• Able to lift 50 lb and work from ladders
• 18 or older (the role uses power tools)
• Clear, courteous communication with customers in their homes and businesses

PAY AND SCHEDULE

• $24-32/hour depending on experience, full-time, Monday to Friday, daytime hours
• W-2 employee on Kolmo payroll
• Overtime at 1.5x after 40 hours a week
• Paid sick leave under Washington law
• Hours on public-works projects are paid at the Washington prevailing wage rate for the work performed
