Handyman/HandymanHelper

Description

Imaginative Solutions is a small, growing handyman and home-repair business in the Jacksonville area. I’m looking for two kinds of people:
Handyman – Someone I can send to a job on their own and trust to finish it the same way I would: clean, on time, and with integrity. You need to already know how to do a little bit of everything.
Handyman Helper – Someone who will work right beside me on jobs. You’ll be learning as we go, but you still need some real construction experience so you’re useful from day one.
If you’ve done drywall, flooring, hanging doors and frames, tile, painting, basic carpentry, or similar work, I want to hear from you.
Duties (Handyman)

  • Take jobs independently and complete them to a high standard without constant supervision
  • Drywall repair and finishing
  • Flooring (laminate, vinyl, tile, etc.)
  • Hang doors and door frames
  • Tile work
  • Painting and general interior/exterior repairs
  • Other common residential repairs as they come up
  • Communicate with customers professionally and treat their homes with respect
Duties (Helper)
  • Work alongside me on jobs
  • Help with the same types of work listed above
  • Load/unload materials, prep work, cleanup, and whatever else the job needs
  • Learn as we go and get better every week
What I’m looking for
  • Some real construction or handyman experience (doesn’t have to be formal)
  • You know how to use common hand and power tools safely
  • Reliable, show up on time, and take pride in the work
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Own basic tools is a plus
  • Can pass a background check (you’ll be in people’s homes)
How to apply: contact via email or phone number (text) and let me know what experience you do have that matches: drywall, flooring, doors, tile, painting, carpentry, or any other repair work if any. Even if it’s not a perfect match, list what you’ve actually done. That’s all I need to start and we can go from there.
