Job Description: Experienced/Qualified Handyman

We are currently seeking a qualified Handyman to handle unit maintenance, unit, turns including painting, and construction/carpentry/drywall duties on renovations/remodels

Your Experience and Expertise:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Construction/Property maintenance/handyman experience preferred; including light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
• Ability to operate various hand tools, including power tools
• Ability to understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Effective communication skills
• Able to work under the direction of our Lead
• Aptitude in decision making and problem solving, with attention to detail
• Understand and adhere to safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Must have valid WDL, own reliable transportation and a reliable phone.

Compensation:

• Starting Wage: $25.00- $30.00 per hour DOE
• Work days: Monday through Friday
• Work schedule: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Physical Demands:

The successful candidate will be required to perform essential physical demanding functions for this job. Employees are required to walk, sit, kneel, crawl, reach, use their hands, talk, and hear. Also, employees must be able to lift or move up to 50-75 pounds. The employee must be able to climb and safely use ladders while working in high areas. Employee must occasionally wear PPE (protective mask, gloves and goggles) while performing some tasks.

The work duties will require the employee to work in all outside weather conditions, including heat, rain and snow.
