HANDYMAN / JACK OF ALL TRADES WANTED – ONGOING PROPERTY WORK

Established Phoenix-area property management company is looking for a reliable, experienced Handyman / Jack of All Trades for ongoing work at residential rental properties throughout the Phoenix metro area.

We manage a large portfolio of rental properties and are looking for someone who can handle a variety of everyday repairs and rental property turns.

Typical Work Includes:

Drywall repair and patching

Interior painting and touch-ups
Basic plumbing repairs
Basic electrical/fixture replacement
Doors, locks, cabinets and hardware
Minor carpentry
Caulking and general repairs
Rental property turns / make-readies
Punch-list items
General handyman work

IMPORTANT – THIS IS A 1099 INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR/VENDOR POSITION

You must operate as an independent contractor and have the ability to:

Purchase ALL necessary materials and supplies for assigned jobs
Pay for materials upfront and invoice us for approved materials
Provide receipts with invoices
Have your own tools and reliable transportation
Manage your own schedule and jobs professionally
Communicate clearly and provide photos/documentation of completed work

You will be responsible for purchasing the materials needed to complete your jobs and billing us for those materials. Because of this, you must have sufficient working capital or available credit to operate your own business. We are not looking for someone who requires material advances or company credit cards to complete jobs.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, responsive, reasonably priced and versatile. You don't need to be a master tradesperson in everything—we need a solid jack-of-all-trades who knows what they can handle and communicates when something requires a licensed specialty contractor.

There is potential for consistent, ongoing work for the right person.
