Handyman / Maintenance Position – Brooklyn Crab

Brooklyn Crab is looking for an experienced, reliable handyman to join our team full-time.
This is a Monday through Friday position with weekends off. We are looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and able to handle a little bit of everything around a busy restaurant property.
The ideal candidate should have experience with general maintenance, repairs, and small projects. This person must be comfortable working independently, identifying problems, and getting things done the right way.

Responsibilities include:

General repairs and maintenance throughout the restaurant

Basic electrical work and troubleshooting
Basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
Light construction and carpentry
Painting, patching, and general touch-ups
Door, lock, hardware, and fixture repairs
Equipment maintenance and minor repairs
Outdoor maintenance and property upkeep
Preventative maintenance
Assisting with setup, breakdown, and small improvement projects
Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organized

Must have:

Previous handyman or maintenance experience

Knowledge of basic electric, plumbing, construction, and carpentry
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Strong attention to detail
Reliable transportation
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to lift, move, and work on your feet
Must be punctual and dependable
Must take pride in clean, finished work
Restaurant, bar, hotel, or commercial property maintenance experience is a plus.

We are looking for someone long-term who wants to be part of a strong team and help keep a large, high-volume restaurant running smoothly.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Weekends: Off
