Handyman Subcontractors Wanted — Metro Detroit

MetroFix Handyman Services (Southfield) has steady, year-round residential work across Dearborn, Detroit, Livonia, Westland, Southfield, and greater Metro Detroit.

We're seeking professional, experienced handyman subcontractors to join our team. If you're tired of chasing your own leads, marketing yourself, buying materials out of pocket, or waiting 30+ days to get paid, this is worth a conversation.

What we handle so you don't have to: customer communication, scheduling, invoicing, material procurement, and quality control. You show up and do the trade work.

What we need:

• Licensed/insured where trade requires it (electrical, plumbing)
• Reliable and responsive — you show up when scheduled, communicate if something changes
• Quality work with minimal callbacks
• Comfortable working directly with homeowners
• Can scope and execute independently once given the job

The work: Drywall, paint, trim, gutters, doors, flooring, fixture swaps, deck work, pressure washing, wood rot/fascia repair, and light renovation. Jobs run 1–3 days mostly, some bigger. Mix of homeowner and property management clients.

The pay: Flat rate per job, scoped to labor. 15 days standard payout (faster options available)

This isn't a fit if:

• You only want to take on larger projects and skip the smaller jobs
• You can't consistently travel within Oakland, Wayne, or Macomb counties
• You don't have your own tools and reliable transportation
• You're not insured (or can’t get insurance within 30 days)
